A Few Places Worth Detouring For
Ozran Beach (Little Vagator) A short drive from Anjuna, tucked behind rocky cliffs and lined with palms. It's the kind of beach where you can actually hear the waves instead of a speaker system. Go for sunset — it's one of the better ones in the area.
Chapora Fort Viewpoint Everyone knows Chapora Fort, mostly from that one movie scene. Fewer people bother walking around it to catch the actual view — the Arabian Sea on one side, Vagator Beach and green hills on the other. Early morning or just before sunset is when it's at its best, and when you'll have it mostly to yourself.
Arpora Village Sits quietly between Baga and Anjuna, easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Narrow streets, small boutiques, local eateries with no pretense about them. If you're around on a Saturday night, the night market here is worth the trip on its own — handicrafts, clothes, jewelry, and food stalls that outclass most of what you'll find on the main beaches.
